Arianne Martin is a Texas born award-winning actress, writer, director, producer and headshot photographer for almost 20 years with over 80 credits on IMDb (from critically acclaimed television shows to award winning indies).
She's most recently worked on Star Girl, Station 19, Waco: The Aftermath, Reservations Dogs and the 2023 Sundance Selection, Fancy Dance.
She has been coaching actors of all ages for almost 17 years, including her son Julian Hilliard (Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, WandaVision, The Haunting of Hill House,
The Conjuring 3).
Arianne specializes in building a character, setting up environment, making interesting choices, and bringing out a real and grounded performance. Her coaching style is intuitive, and she tailors her work to the actor's individual needs
April Hartman is an Indiana born, but Texas raised actress, producer and director. At age eleven she auditioned for and made it into the Texas Girls Choir. During her three-year adventure with the choir, she performed concerts for local stations, recorded two albums, traveled the state, and started performing in musical productions.
After a twelve-year break from acting to get a degree and raise her son, she came back strong. April now has over 80 credits on IMBD that include major tv series, film leads, stunts and more. She has filmed all over the U.S. and worked along side some the most notable actors.
Through the festival circuit, April has had films flourish all over the United States and abroad including Cannes Film Festival, USA Film festival, Bare Bones and many more. Not only have her films done extremely well, they have also earned her 10 best Actor nominations and 7 best Actor wins.
WHY WE DO IT
Arianne and April both felt that the southwest was a place of vast possibility within the film & tv industry. They chose to bring their years of experience, knowledge, insight and abilities to New Mexico and are very grateful for all the amazing people they've had the opportunity to work with.
April and Arianne's ultimate goal for ACT UP is that every actor is totally prepared and properly equipped for their opportunity when it comes.
